A Boise optometrist since 1991, Dr. Johnson is a primary care specialist with emphasis in Computer Vision Syndrome, multi-focal and toric contact lenses and refractive surgery. Advanced course work includes: Computer vision syndrome, pediatric vision, refractive surgery (LASIK), visually related learning problems, binocular vision, specialty and hard-to-fit contact lenses (including keratoconus and multi-focal lenses) and sports vision.
Dr. Johnson is a member of the Idaho Optometric Association, The American Optometric Association, American Foundation for Vision Awareness, College of Optometrist in Vision Development (COVD) and the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation of Association International (NORA). Dr. Johnson is an adjunct faculty member of Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO) in Fullerton, California. As an adjunct faculty member of SCCO, Dr. Johnson serves as a mentor to current optometry students who choose to complete a segment of their 4th year clinical rotations at Artisan Optics in preparation for graduation.
